The Saint Louis Zoo, Saint Louis Missouri
The St Louis Zoo was founded in 1910 and has long been a favorite tourist site for families living in and visiting Missouri. Since its opening, the St Louis Zoo has been involved in animal conservation and education. There is more than just animals, the St Louis Zoo has plenty of attractions to keep the entire group interested for the whole day. Elephants from Asia, African Black Rhinos, cheetahs and hippos are on display in faithful re-creations of their habitats.
The Discovery Corner features a Childrens Zoo which includes a petting area, shows and a play ground. Kids can play and learn as they get up close and personal with the animals in an interactive environment. At "the Wild" exhibit, on display are endangered grizzly and polar bears, orangutans, chimps and gorillas.
