The Los Angeles Zoo was opened in 1966. The zoo is a savior to all the animal's who live there. They always strive to save endangered animals while researching and protecting others.
The zoo is located on 113 acres of beautiful land used for the conservation of their wildlife. The Los Angeles Zoo houses 1,200 unique animals and various plants from all around the world for you to enjoy. You can see the Alligator pits or look at the monkey cages. Maybe you'd like to see the lion grazing tundra or their exotic birdhouses.
You can also check out the zoo's lush botanical garden's. When looking in the gardens make sure to keep an eye out for animals that live there.
Hours: 10:00 AM-5:00 PM (Zoo keepers put animals away beginning at 4:00 PM)
Admission: Adults $10, Seniors $7, Children 2-12 $5, Children under 2 are free.
