Rio Grande on a Charter Bus

If your a zoo lover on a charter bus in New Mexico then a stop you should definitely make sure that you don't miss would be the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque. The zoo has many different exhibits. The zoo also has an interesting history.
The Rio Grande Zoo was founded in 1927. The zoo was built on 64 acres of land. With those 64 acres the zoo is able to offer close encounters with their over 250 exotic species. They also have native animals. Some of their more popular species have been gorillas, orangutans, elephants, polar bears, giraffes, hippos, camels, tamarins, koalas, Mexican wolves, mountain lions, monkeys, jaguars, zebras and rhinoceros. They have one of a kind exhibits and landscapes that are like eye candy to just further enhance your experience on this zoological adventure at the Rio Grande zoo.

13 to 64 years: $7
65 years and older: $3
3 to12 years: $3
Hours are from
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Sunday.
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, June through August
