Staten Island Wedding Limousines

Staten Island is full of great wedding locations and you need the best limousine for your special day. Your wedding limo should match your dreams.
A couple of hints to renting your perfect limo for your wedding. First, use a local company, go to see the vehicle if you can. Second, always provide a complete itinerary, let the limo company know where you're taking pictures, how many stops are needed, give them as much info as possible. And the third most important thing to remember is to oversize your limousine; don't scrimp on the size to save on price. Don't forget most wedding and bridesmaid dresses are gloriously huge you need all the room you can get; if you have 6 people get a 9 passenger vehicle, always provide enough room for the dress! You can always consider a party bus, the more room the better.
Staten Island hotels and catering halls offer great values and scenic settings for your wedding. Now that you can pick the perfect limousine, in the upcoming articles we will explore some great places on Staten Island for picture taking, catering halls as well as the picture perfect churches the Island has to offer.

Flight Gallery Exhibition, DC

Nearly one hundred years ago, history was made not far from here on a sandy beach in North Carolina by two unknown, but inventive brothers. December 17, 1903, was a cold and blustery day, but it offered the perfect conditions for the first heavier-than-air, manned, powered, controllable flight. Today visitors can explore 100 years of aviation history with the new state-of-the-art Adventures in Flight gallery. This exhibit expansion, the largest in the museum's history, takes visitors from the origins of flight to the future of flight. The gallery highlights Hampton Roads' role in commercial, civil and military aviation. The gallery features one-of-a-kind, world-class interactives that allow you to be directly involved in discovering our region's many contributions to flight. See a replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer, the first in the nation to be completed for the Centennial of Flight. An accurate reproduction of the first powered airplane, the replica is within 21 pounds of the original 1903 Flyer's weight.
" Wing walk" on a recreated Jenny bi-plane, in the Curtiss Jenny Century of Flight Theater. The "Jenny" Theater takes visitors back to the Roaring '20s to experience an exhilarating barnstorming ride first-hand, while taking a fanciful flight through 100 years of aviation milestones. For a ride experience unlike any other, step aboard a B-24 Liberator to experience the sound and feel of a true bombing mission. The B-24 Simulator combines thrilling motion programming with incredible details of actual combat flights to give you a real sense of what B-24 crews experienced 60 years ago.
The Commercial Aviation exhibits offer a behind-the-scenes look at commercial air travel beginning with the monstrous AirTran Airways DC-9 that you can enter and explore. A Boeing 717 Simulator can be found in the first-class cabin, where pilots of all ages can take the yoke and try their hand at flying. The simulator demonstrates NASA's Glass Cockpit, a variety of new digital cockpit technologies that make flight safer. You can also become an air traffic controller where you can learn the ins and outs of possibly the toughest job at an airport. Real-time data is displayed on an electronic map of North America showing all aircraft in flight. Guests are also given a quick lesson in speaking like an air traffic controller as simple directions are transformed into code-like ATC slang. You can even climb into the cockpit of an F/A-22 Raptor, the Air Force's newest fighter jet, and learn more about the latest stealth technology used by the military. For those who prefer to keep their sea-legs, consider getting into the action in the Air Power at Sea exhibits with a blue-screen interactive that allows you to step into the shoes of a "Shooter." Experience the exhilaration of launching a Navy fighter from an aircraft carrier through green-screen technology that places you right on the deck of an aircraft carrier as a member of the Rainbow Crew.
Possibly the biggest draw in the Air Power at Sea exhibits is the interactive, 1:48 scale model of the USS Ronald Reagan, the Navy's newest aircraft carrier. This "floating city" allows you to see the inside of the carrier and learn about life at sea through a hands-on, high-tech Ship Scanner with LCD display. So charter a coach bus today!

Crow Creek Golf Club, NC

Crow Creek Golf Club is located in Calabash, NC on Highway 17, 2 miles north of the NC / SC state line and just minutes from Myrtle Beach, SC.Since Opening in February 2000, Crow Creek Golf Club has become one of the most popular destinations for golfers visiting the Myrtle Beach area. Created by architect Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate, Crow Creek Golf Club is a scenic layout set on developer Jerry McLamb's 500-acre family homestead.Golfers that have experienced Crow Creek have made it a "must play" on their return visits to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Comments are received on a daily basis praising the imaginative layout, undulating L-93 bent grass greens, manicured Tifsport bermuda fairways and genuine hospitality of the entire staff. "We will definitely tell our friends to play Crow Creek the next time they are in Brunswick County or Myrtle Beach", is a comment heard quite regularly. Visiting golfers can also take advantage of the beautiful beaches of the surrounding Brunswick Islands, as well as the convenience of being within a short drive to both WIlmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC.
There is an inviting intimacy to the golf community of Crow Creek that seems to call for aleisurely stroll. Wander down one of its gently winding streets, for example, and you'll notice the charming ornamented street lamps. The homes themselves seem to welcome passersby; they express the hospitality of the low country lifestyle. Perhaps the best way to sum up the personality of the homes is this: If they were people, they'd probably wave at you as you pass by.Continue down the road and it won't be long before Crow Creek's gracious, expansive clubhouse comes into view. Here, you can enjoy a game of tennis on one of the private courts. Or take a few laps in the pool.Sometimes you'll be in the mood for a walk down one of Crow Creek's nature trails. Or, at sunset, you can watch the wood ducks fly in (like clockwork!) and settle down for their evening roost on the banks of the Caw Caw River. Charter a limo bus to go in style.

Nevadas Indian Territory

In contemporary Nevada, many of the descendents of the states original settlers continue to occupy portions of their ancestral lands. For example, Pyramid Lake, located north of Reno, is located within the boundaries of a Northern Paiute Indian reservation. Reflecting the magnificent natural beauty of the region, Pyramid Lake Rd. (State Rt. 445) has been designated a National Scenic Byway, the only federal scenic byway located entirely within the boundaries of an Indian reservation.
Additionally, the Nevada State Museum in Carson City has an extensive display of native Nevadan artifacts, as well as dioramas showing daily life before the arrival of the white settlers. The Stewart Indian Cultural Center, south of Carson City, was a federal boarding school for Indians until 1980. Today, it houses exhibits on the history of the school. Plan a day trip and charter a coach bus to wisk you from museum to museum.
These days, Nevadas tribes are involved in a variety of business enterprises ranging from native craft shops to smoke shops. The Las Vegas Paiute Resort, owned and operated by the Southern Paiutes, includes two championship golf courses located 20 miles northwest of Las Vegas, in the shadow of the 11,918-foot Charleston Peak.

Green Mountain Film Festival in Vermont

A ten day festival of film from all over the world. The hardest thing about planning a film festival is not sorting through all the bad films: its sorting through all the good ones. There are so many great films in the world - almost too many to choose from. Where they come from nobody knows. For many of us film festivals are the only chance we will get to see them. Thats certainly what the Green Mountain Film Festival is all about, and has been for the last ten years.
GMFF is the same but different this year. They have tossed a few more ingredients into the mix. As well as the Savoy Theater, the Montpelier City Arts Center, and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, you will find events at two new venues: the Unitarian Church and Langdon Street Cafe. They have also managed to squeeze extra screenings in at both ends of the day. So, if your secret pleasure is to try to see everything, be warned; the bar has been raised. With limited parking I would recommend chartering a sedan or coach for the day.

Golfing in Alabama

These are the kinds of shots you always remember, the ones that give you that extra zing of adrenaline before and after you swing. Stand on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Tennessee River and hit a tee shot over what seems to be a bottomless ravine. Stand on a bluff hovering above the Alabama River and watch your drive seemingly sail through the clouds, then fall to a ribbon of fairway 200 feet below. Stand in the fairway and aim at twin greens dissected by an 80-foot waterfall.
These are the kind of breathtaking shots you'll find up and down the world-famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. The Trail, which receives rave reviews each year, helped transform the state into one of the most popular golf destinations in the world. Other states have tried to copy the concept, but Alabama's Trail is the unrivaled original. Whether you stay on the Trail or venture to some of the state's other hideaways by coach bus, its definitely worth the golf trip to Alabama.

St. Augustine, Florida

On August 28, the Feast Day of Saint Augustine, Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles first sighted the coast of Florida. Twelve days later, on September 8, he stepped ashore, planted the Spanish flag into the sandy soil and, with soldiers and settlers who had traveled with him and Timicuans who greeted his arrival watching, Menendez founded a new city and named it St. Augustine. The year was 1565.
From that day until today, the City of St. Augustine has continued to survive and thrive, making it the longest continually inhabited European founded city in the United States, or more commonly called the "Nations Oldest City." Today St. Augustine continues to thrive and prosper as it proudly proclaims over four centuries of history that includes Spanish and English, Greek and Minorcan, Native American and African American influences. A visitor to St. Augustine may delve into the citys history by visiting one of many museums depicting the way of life of early Spanish colonists, or may choose to simply enjoy the feel of history by strolling the narrow old world streets. Even if history is not a center of interest, visitors cannot help but appreciate the rich heritage that makes St. Augustine a unique getaway. When visiting St. Augustine, the perfect first stop is the St. Augustine/St. Johns County Visitor Information Center. From this central facility, one may plan a day-long or a week-long stay as helpful guides will answer questions about museums, historical sites, transportation, guided tours, restaurants, shopping opportunities, recreation and lodging. Also, check into chartering a coach bus to take you from one interesting destination to another.
